Dr. Leslie MacLean earned her Bachelor of Science in Biology from Tulsa University in 1998 before receiving her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from Oklahoma State University in 2002. Her professional interests include surgery and emergency medicine, and she has spent a large portion of her career working in emergency medicine and veterinary leadership.
Although born in Ohio, Dr. MacLean grew up in Oklahoma and has dedicated her career to providing compassionate, high-quality care to her patients. She enjoys the fast-paced nature of emergency medicine and the challenges and rewards that come with helping pets when they need it most.
Outside of the clinic, Dr. MacLean is a self-proclaimed Scottish Terrier addict. She and her husband share their home with four Scotties, a Maine Coon, a Ragdoll, and one chicken, making for a lively and entertaining household.
When she isn't working, Dr. MacLean enjoys spending time with her family, antiquing, cooking, and flower arranging. She is also an avid sports fan and enjoys watching all sports, especially football and golf. Her love of golf even inspired the name of one of her beloved dogs, Scheffler the Scottie.
