Dr. Hollars graduated from veterinary college in 1994 and has been practicing in private practice ever since. She enjoys caring for dogs and cats but also has a special interest in exotic pets.
One of the questions she is asked most often is, "What's your favorite animal?" Her answer is always the same—she simply can't choose because she loves them all. Well, almost all of them. Spiders are definitely a "no thanks" for her. The same goes for choosing a favorite breed; to Dr. Hollars, picking one would be like choosing between children.
Animals have always been a central part of her life. Over the years, she has shared her home with dogs, cats, and many other pets. These days, she also maintains far too many fish tanks, carnivorous plant terrariums, and orchidariums. In fact, the tinier the orchid plant, the better!
With decades of veterinary experience, Dr. Hollars enjoys helping pets and the people who love them. She welcomes all who come to see her and is always happy to share her knowledge, experience, and passion for animal care.
